Beast Of Reincarnation ARPG Set For August!

I can confidently say that we are looking at one of those titles that will likely make this year stay in our memory for a long time. This is Beast of Reincarnation, an action RPG that blends real time combat with a turn based battle system, easily reminding us of several entries in the Final Fantasy saga, and take that as a positive! The title aims to be innovative while maintaining many of the foundations it draws inspiration from, and it achieves that goal with ease.

This new work from GAME FREAK Inc. is set in a post apocalyptic Japan, where we play as Emma, the last hope of humanity. Alongside her peculiar dog Koo, the brave girl embarks on this adventure which not only surprises us with its innovative mix of gameplay mechanics, but also aims to captivate us with a deep narrative and a story that stays with us. From Outcast to the Only Hope of Humanity

The year is 4026. The world has been devastated by a terrible plague, and humanity can barely survive in scattered colonies. Our girl Emma, outcast by society due to her illness, must embark on a difficult and dangerous journey alongside Koo, her blighted dog. Beyond entertaining us, this story aims to make us empathize through emotions such as loneliness or frustration, only to later comfort us through the relationship between the girl and her loyal companion. The world that now surrounds them is unpredictable, dangerous, and hostile, and yet it remains beautiful and breathtaking.

When it comes to gameplay, what stands out the most is its dynamic and innovative combat system, where we can unleash devastating, fast combos with Emma’s sword abilities, while issuing commands to Koo through a menu, choosing the techniques that best synergize with our fighting style. This hybrid system combines elements of action RPG and turn based gameplay, and combined with its powerful narrative, it manages to hook us from minute one.

Customization will also be an important factor in Beast of Reincarnation. Emma has access to a large skill tree of unique abilities, which, together with the equipment we use and the spirit stones we can equip, help us survive in the deadly wasteland. On the other hand, the characters we encounter have a past, and sometimes hide a dangerous truth that frequently intertwines with the fates of the protagonist and her companion, forming part of a deep and moving story.

Emma and Koo must travel across this impressive interconnected and ever changing open world, fighting bosses from all over and capturing their powers, in order to finally succeed in their mission: to defeat the Beast of Reincarnation.
