NBA 2K25
NBA 2K25 is the newest entry in the acclaimed basketball simulation franchise developed by Visual Concepts. This edition continues to refine the on-court experience with improved AI, smoother animations, and a more realistic physics system. Classic modes like MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and MyNBA return with fresh features, allowing players to experience the NBA from different angles: as a rising star, a general manager, or a card collector. On top of that, the graphics have been enhanced to take full advantage of next-gen consoles, with stunning detail in stadiums, player faces, and overall atmosphere.
One of NBA 2K25’s biggest focuses is the expansion of its online universe, offering a renewed City (on next-gen consoles) and a more dynamic Community, with weekly events, challenges, and exclusive rewards. The game also introduces new levels of customization, both in the visual aspect and in character skill progression. The soundtrack, as always, stands out with a mix of established and emerging artists. All in all, NBA 2K25 aims not only to deliver the most realistic basketball experience possible, but also to establish itself as a social and competitive platform for sports lovers.
Alone in the Dark
Alone in the Dark (2024) is an ambitious reboot of the classic horror game that defined the genre in the 90s. Set in a dark, gothic version of the southern United States in the 1920s, the game places us in Derceto Manor, a mental institution filled with mysteries and supernatural horrors. Players can choose between two protagonists: Emily Hartwood, played by actress Jodie Comer (Killing Eve, Free Guy), or Edward Carnby, played by David Harbour (Stranger Things, Hellboy). Each character offers a unique perspective on the story, with exclusive dialogue and scenes that enrich the narrative and increase replay value.
The game blends third-person exploration, puzzle-solving, and confrontations with creatures from the depths of the mind. With an oppressive atmosphere, unsettling lighting, and a story full of psychological themes, Alone in the Dark goes all in on a more immersive and narrative-driven horror. Visually, the title stands out for its detailed environments and realistic facial capture of the actors, delivering a cinematic experience. This new entry not only honors its roots, but also updates the formula for a new generation of players looking for horror with depth and character.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is an explosive action-platformer developed by Team Reptile, set in a futuristic city where street art and urban style dominate the streets. Inspired by the legendary Jet Set Radio, the game takes us to New Amsterdam, a metropolis divided into disputed districts ruled by graffiti gangs. Players control Red, a young man with a cybernetic head who, after a mysterious past, joins the Bomb Rush Crew to conquer the city through graffiti, extreme stunts, and street rhythm. Each character moves with skates, bikes, or boards, pulling off spectacular tricks while dodging an increasingly aggressive police force.
The narrative blends with energetic gameplay and cel-shaded aesthetics that bring the urban world to life with vibrant colors and stylized animations. Although the characters aren’t based on famous actors, they’re brought to life by a voice cast that adds personality and energy, with standout performances like Pjotr Groothoff as Red. Music plays a key role in the experience, with electronic and funk tracks accompanying every move in style. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a celebration of urban art, creative rebellion, and freedom of movement, delivering a unique visual and auditory experience.
