Stormforge – A Fantasy Survival Set For 2026
The new studio Roboto Games, which we will not call indie (I will explain that below), will launch Stormforge next year, their open-world fantasy action and crafting survival game, a captivating adventure that we will be able to play either solo or in online co-op for up to 8 players. In it we will explore the vast world of Sorana, procedurally generated, with endless islands full of secrets, treasures, resources, and of course, enemies. We will also have to face the mysterious magical storms, and master their power if we want to find their origin.
The name Roboto Games may ring a bell to you, or maybe not. The fact is that, despite being a new studio, its founders and members already have a solid track record in the world of video games: its founders, Curt Bererton and Mathilde Pignol, had previously created ZipZapPlay, which would later become part of PopCap. In fact, other current members of Roboto Games have also worked at PopCap before, which leaves us with the idea that, despite being a new studio, its members actually know exactly what they’re doing.

The Power of Storms in the Palm of Your Hand
Stormforge invites us to a fantasy adventure in the open world of Sorana, which we will be able to enjoy alone or in co-op for up to 8 players online. We will be able to explore, gather resources, fight, craft gear and build our shelters or settlements. This epic fantasy survival will place special emphasis on gathering ingredients to create magical weapons and armor that we will later use in incredible battles against super-powerful bosses. Without a doubt, this will be something we will enjoy more as a team, although Sorana will also have attractive rewards for those brave ones who embark on this journey solo.

In our search for answers about the mysterious origin of the magical storms, we will face countless dangers and challenges, which could eventually be the path to the salvation of the world of Sorana. We will use various melee, ranged, and magical weapons to face the hordes of enemies that will seek to feed on the life force of the earth. As we have been able to see in its trailer, we’ll even have great mobility, thanks to the gliders that help us cover long distances quickly!
Without a doubt, this will be a survival, exploration, and crafting adventure that we will not want to miss! And having crossed the middle of the year, we know well that 2026 is just around the corner, right?
