In 2017, the studio Blue Brain Games released their groundbreaking The House of Da Vinci, an original title packed with challenging puzzles, hidden objects, and escape room mechanics. This game was very well received and acclaimed by critics, laying the foundation for its three sequels, which arrived in 2020, 2022, and 2024, the most recent one being aimed at VR devices. Over the years, these titles have captured the attention of all those eager players who enjoyed solid intellectual challenges, with the added incentive of uncovering a story filled with secrets and mysteries from the Renaissance era.
This year, more precisely on September 23rd, Blue Brain Games will release The House of Tesla, their new puzzle adventure packed with challenges and a singular beauty, in which they invite us to see the world through the eyes of one of the most famous inventors in all of human history: Nikola Tesla. Accompanied by an original and gripping story, this new title will keep us glued to our seat for many hours, racking our brains in the best way, trying to solve each situation and move forward in an environment beautifully designed to emulate the era of the great inventor. But don’t just take our word for it! Besides watching the trailer we’ve left below, you can already try its free demo on Steam! What are you waiting for?
A Story of Puzzles and Discovery
“Science brings mysteries toward the light one by one, strips them of their secrets, and makes them part of something greater. It is true that some myths are rooted too deeply, are too resilient, and even seem like having a mind of their own as they resist men of science trying to shine the light of understanding. But in the end, science and mystery are anything but anathema to each other. On one stormy night, a person was brought to this world. A child of darkness and a child of light, full of mysteries and full of scientific curiosity, just starting to build a myth of their own.”

With those words begins the description of The House of Tesla on Steam. This title proposes to take us to Wardenclyffe, a place that was meant to become an important futuristic city, and one of Nikola Tesla’s most ambitious projects. There we will explore the eerie abandoned industrial buildings, through the eyes of the inventor himself, and we’ll be able to witness key moments that led to the construction and ultimate fall of the famous Wardenclyffe Tower, revealing the mysteries that were lost among the abandoned machines.
There’s a lot about this concept that we find appealing, going way beyond its visual aspect, which is undoubtedly impressive. While it follows the path marked by the studio’s previous titles, The House of Tesla clearly displays a strong and unique identity, fully in tune with the famous historical icon that gives the game its name, and with his inventiveness and brilliance. The era is finely portrayed, making us truly feel like we’re at the end of the 19th century, in the midst of the Industrial Revolution. And without a doubt, the puzzles, true protagonists of this story, are simply brilliant, offering a challenge tailored to each one.
