Can you imagine waking up with no memory, and on top of that, in a prison that defies the reality you know? That’s exactly what Confinio: Reality Prison proposes, the new game from Spanish studio Enthariel Games, whose release will be announced soon. This title brings us a unique 2D visual novel, in which we play as Dromaius, the confused protagonist who must roam this hostile and unfamiliar environment, and investigate who else is there in other cells, or watching over them…
While Enthariel Games’ experience might seem limited, as they only have one game to their name so far, Luminaria: Dark Echoes, an addictive roguelite that launches today, June 10th 2025, characterized by its deep steampunk storyline and wide variety of impressive final bosses, it must be said that the passion and dedication they put into their games can be noticed at first glance, so without a doubt we should keep an eye on the upcoming release of Confinio: Reality Prison.

What is Confinio: Reality Prison about?
As we already mentioned, Confinio: Reality Prison is a 2D visual novel where darkness wraps our past and uncertainty guides our steps. We wake up in a cell with no memories, where our decisions will shape our destiny. As we look around, nothing seems familiar, just a cell we’re trapped in… or not? We can’t remember, but… is there someone else here? And if there is, can we trust them? …or even just enough to allow them to help us?
Confinio: Reality Prison unfolds through a decision-based system where we determine Dromaius’ fate, while also putting to the test or strengthening the bonds we can create with other characters in this strange place. At all times, we must pay attention to the “Reality” and “Sanity” indicators, and constantly evaluate and decide who we trust, who trusts us, or even who we become enemies with! Confinio draws us into a psychological mystery that promises to keep us on edge until the very end!

Now then, the official release date of Confinio: Reality Prison will be announced soon, but in the meantime, you can already visit its Steam page, add it to your Wishlist, and download its free demo to try it firsthand! Since the studio is Spanish, I hope you understand that some of the images contain texts in Spanish too, but don’t worry, the game includes English as one of its default languages, as you’ll see in the demo.
