Hell Express: Original Extraction Shooter TBA
The new studio Full Metal Bagel Games will soon announce the launch of their new cooperative narrative action-adventure extraction shooter with an isometric view, Hell Express, which undoubtedly looks original in several aspects. This action game does not rely mainly on frantic combat, although of course it features it, but rather on a deep narrative line that undoubtedly increases immersion and our interest as gamers hungry for good stories that grip us, no matter which genre we find them in.
This is the case with Hell Express, a unique game that you can play either solo or cooperatively with up to 3 other players online, that, besides having, yes, intense combat, leads you through high-risk treasure hunts and demands strategic resource management in a world teetering between life and death. A Journey Between Living World and Limbo
What stood out to me the most about this title is its strong narrative focus: its story proposes that we become part of Hell Express, an armed delivery company that makes shipments to the depths of Limbo, a place that exists on a completely different plane, where a chaotic reality reigns, filled with both nightmare creatures and priceless treasures waiting only for the most curious and brave travelers. For this task, we will be able to choose from a diverse cast of characters, each with unique abilities and personal motives.
In addition to its clear survivor characteristics, not to mention its classification as an extraction shooter and everything that implies, in each trip we will be able to discover secrets of this incredible and dangerous world we will go to so often. Added to that will be the backgrounds of each character and their independent motivations, which on many occasions will lead us through paths of discovery as complicated as they are dangerous. And all of this without neglecting our constant search for resources and upgrades for our vehicle, equipment, and weapons.
The cooperative mode of Hell Express will always demand a high level of strategic coordination, for which fluid and constant communication with our teammates will be vital at all times. And speaking of weapons, our Hell Trekker vehicle will always be the best and most useful one of all, for which we will obviously have a high degree of customization and upgrades available, which will allow us to explore freely the world of Limbo, and each time will make the difference between life and death.
Its narrative aspect will be present at all times and will not let you forget it or overlook it. Its unique artistic style and touches of dark humor will keep you hooked to the stories that unfold, many of which will undoubtedly touch your heart, and some will even leave you thinking for a long time. Just listening to the music and the narrative voice that accompanies the gameplay trailer gives you an idea of the warmth and depth with which they will tell us the story, which also highlights the quality of its excellent sound design.
